Olympiacos is the Greek champion for the 2020-21 football season after clinching a 3-1 win over rivals Panathinaikos at Karaiskakis stadium on Sunday.
The Piraeus club mathematically secured the Super League title after Aris Thessaloniki lost to AEK Athens 1-3 earlier on the day.
Olympiacos Piraeus is on 76 points, 22 points ahead of its nearest rival.
After the game Olympiacos Piraeus players celebrated yet another triumph in the club’s illustrious history.
Panathinaikos opened the score with a Federico Macheda penalty in the first half.
The home side bounced back just before the interval with Ahmed Hassan Koka.
Achilleas Poungouras was sent off for the visitors on the 65′.
Olympiakos Piraeus has mathematically clinched its second consecutive title in the Super League, and 46th overall in the Greek top flight,
after beating Panathinaikos on Sunday while Aris suffered a home reverse to AEK.

Panathinaikos took the lead with a Federico Macheda penalty just after the half-hour point, but substitute
Ahmed Hassan equalized in the first-half injury time.
It was only after Panathinaikos was left with 10 men, through the second yellow card shown to Achilleas Pougouras,
that Olympiakos managed to edge ahead with Hassan again, before Bruma put the icing on the cake with the last kick of the game.
AEK has joined PAOK on 51 points, as PAOK drew 1-1 at Asteras Tripolis. The Thessaloniki club led with Karol Swiderski,
but Asteras drew level courtesy of Juan Munafo to reach 44 points, five less than fifth-placed Panathinaikos.
In the playouts on Saturday, Larissa scored a stunning 1-0 triumph at Atromitos to come off the bottom of the table,
where Panetolikos has now dropped due to its 3-1 loss at Volos.
OFI snatched a precious 0-0 draw at Apollon and is three points above Panetolikos,
with one team going straight down and another facing a relegation playoff with the Super League 2 runner-ups.
46th league title for Olympiacos Piraeus
Founded on 10 March 1925, Olympiacos is the most successful club in Greek football history,
having won 46 League titles, 28 Cups (18 Doubles) and 4 Super Cups, all records.
Τotalling 77 national trophies, the club is 9th in the world in total titles won by a football club.
The club’s dominating success can be further evidenced by the fact that all other Greek clubs have won a combined total of 39 League titles.
Olympiacos also holds the record for the most consecutive Greek League titles won,
with seven in a row in two occasions (1997–2003 and 2011–2017), breaking their own previous record of six consecutive wins in the 1950s (1954–1959), when it was unequivocally nicknamed Thrylos (legend).
In European competitions, Olympiacos best performances are their presence in the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals in 1998–99, losing the semi-final spot in the last minutes of their second leg match against Juventus, as well as in the UEFA Cup Winners’ Cup quarter-finals in 1992–93.
The Red-Whites are by far the highest ranked Greek club in the UEFA rankings.
